Androgynous Looks Get Runway Attention

Serbian born model Andrej Pejic has stirred a lot of controversy in the fashion world walking down the runway as a transgender model. In January of 2011 Andrej walked the runway for Jean Paul Gaultier in a sheer wedding dress and mohawk looking absolutely stunning and pulling off the look just as well (if not better) than other female celebrities/models who have been seen wearing the same dress. Pejic was also chosen to become the face of Marc by Marc Jacobs for his androgynous looks. He was on the cover of 14 magazines in 2011, one being the New York fall fashion issue where he was said to be the "prettiest boy in the world." See for yourself, can you tell the difference? I don't know which way I like him more; he's ravishing as both!

A Perfect New York Day

I chanced upon this hidden gem one unbelievably beautiful Spring day in the city when it was a perfect 75 degrees outside, sun was shining, cool breeze, trees and flowers were in bloom, and everyone seemed to be in a good mood. It was one of those perfect New York moments that I wished would last a little longer. I was on my way elsewhere but was lured into this inviting hallway. The walls were a beautiful shade of blue that a photo could never do justice and were adorned with vintage mirrors of different shapes and sizes. There was romantic 1920's playing throughout the hallway and I was curious to see what was at the end of it.  What I found at the end of the white Christmas light decorated tunnel was an even better treat. It led me to Pippin's Vintage where I found some wonderful treasures!

Soap Too Beautiful To be Used

This was a wonderful Christmas gift from a friend. It was so beautiful I didn't want to use it, but it smelled so good and when I found out the benefits of what black soap can do, I finally took the soap out of its box and into the shower. Black soap has anti-aging properties that originated from West Africa. It's known for its ability to relieve acne as well as help remove scars caused by acne. Black soap is sensitive to all skin types (even oily skin) and helps to clear blemishes, skin irritations, or diseases. It is also great for removing makeup.
